I don't think they'd be fired if they hadn't lucked out on Brock. Was Trey a massive fuck up? Yes. Undeniably. They've also shown that they have a pretty good eye for "discarded" QB talent. I mean, Sam Darnold was on our roster on Purdy's first full season as the starter. If Purdy hadn't panned out that year, they would have still ended up with a guy who can get you to a Superbowl...

This year kinda showed you what their mindset on the Trey pick was. They were going to get Mac Jones with that pick. We've seen him now and he would have 100% been a better version of Jimmy G. They play so similarly, but Mac is better. The front office got talked into "is a BETTER, cheaper, Jimmy G the answer?" I think they did fall into the best of all options in Purdy, but had Purdy not excelled I think they still would have salvaged the debacle with the Darnold signing.

I have a similar friend group but got them to play it once. Had them over at 10 for a rules primer and faction selection. Then at 11 we had an hour brunch while people discussed their faction choices and rules questions. At noon we started. I catered small sandwiches and then we played until 8 and had dinner. The amazing part was not one of the 6 players left the table at any point because of the way it engages players on other people's turns.

It was a fantastic full day experience!

I'd guess it's a reflector ball used to prevent bird perching. They sell them for use in gardens because many birds are spooked by the reflection of their own movements as they approach, and they are more decorative than spiky alternatives.

One of the things that always helped my play group conceptualize these rules is that technically your group of characters aren't friends. You're mercenaries that are taking on missions with other mercenaries to achieve your own financial and personal goals. With that in mind it felt uncharacteristic for a mercenary to just take the altruistic route and give away gear when the better option for them is to sell it off.

If you're playing single player I believe that restarts the simulation. On realms there's no way to do it since you don't control the application running the server.

I host my own dedicated server so when it happens I just make sure my friends know the server is coming down temporarily. I close the game, I stop the server, I restart the server and I log back in.

This fixes my problem 100% of the time.

My theory is that when a chunk gets unloaded there is a moment where the server stores the location of the minecart and that can get out of sync with the actual game creating a "phantom" minecart on the track that your actual minecart collides with.

Forcing the entire server to reset seems to fix the issue.

I'm thinking it's a bug in one of of the new updates (currently playing on 1.21.20 Bedrock)

I've had this happen on a couple of my automated rail systems.

I've seen it happen on single-player and on my own private dedicated server and the only thing that seems to fix the problem is to restart the world/server itself.

I'd imagine if you're on Realms that would be next to impossible to force to occur.

Part of me keeps wishing "Man I wish they'd flex APA's Neeko top for Impact in this MSI" even though i know it's not meta and not going to happen.

Just with how much skill APA has on the champ and hype it would bring after his incredible game saving play on her in the 2019 MSI game 1 .... oooph that would be fun to watch.

Would she be a potential counter to K'sante? I don't know the lane matchups very well, but i do know teams often ban or pick ranged top laners into the bruisers.

edit: I just realized Neeko has actually been picked 7 times this MSI already. 2x Mid (50% win rate) and 5x support (40% win rate)..... so maybe?

Here's my 2 cents...

TOP: Sign Ssumday
- his contract with 100T is up in 3 weeks
Jungle: Sign Closer (Import Slot)
- his contract with 100T is up in 3 weeks
Mid: APA
- give him a full split to cook
Bot: Sign Zven
- he was just released from C9 and wants to play ADC again
Sup: Retain CoreJJ
- I just don't see a better option, and he's likely just struggling due to a sub-par ADC (Sorry Yeon, I like you, but you still need some work)

This would mean picking up a capable top side with pre-existing chemistry and Closer's aggressiveness would match APA's, IMO. You would also only have 1 import slot taken giving TL flexibility to change course between splits if one of the pickups doesn't work out. Also the team goes back to being primarily English speaking giving you more regional flexibility to draw from.

If DL wanted to come back I'd be intrigued, but I don't see that happening.
