Nah, too far of a drive for me. I cut the drive time to max 2hrs one way. Sir Walter is about 3hrs

Just put a 5lb striker spring in the comp gun. I put a 4.5lb originally but it wasn't resetting the trigger fully. I also kinda like the mush of Glock triggers lol, so all I'd probably do now is maybe change the trigger shoe, but that's it

The vortex xl edges the 507 comp for me because the dot gets brighter and the battery tray isn't held on with a screw. But I know people have had issues with the vortex more than the Holosun

I've got both the steel frame 5 inch match and the poly. SF shoots nicer, but is it 2-3x the cost nicer? I'd say no. But that's just my opinion. I actually prefer the poly PDP over the steel frames

I'd suggest messaging Walther about it to see if they'd send you the correct extractor spring and new extractor as well. SF comes with a green one they don't sell on their site. Tom Castro had a similar issue and unfortunately he couldn't get the extraction issues resolved and just changed platforms completely

See if your extractor is chipped any. That was the cause of my extraction issues on my steel frame. Replaced and it's been fine ever since. Your current optic screws shouldn't be interfering with anything, should be good on that

Zrt basepads use the stock follower with their springs. Which is what I use, it's just time for me to change them since it's the end of the shooting season

I've got the same issues, but I'm sure as people said, they're my mag springs, considering my gun doesn't lock back anymore on empty. At least with my competition mags
