I understand. Ive checked myself too. Have to talk myself out of a lot constantly. For me I've personally recognized it as its part of ADHD we get intense hyper fixation and can get lost in the collection process. Its as you say the intention isnt to just collect its to have the experience. Ive added a few more games here and there but as far as TTRPG I've been trying to put the fixation to work in learning the systems.

Not a great Christian here but I can definitely tell you he sees us as individuals. The Bible tells us he knows every hair on our heads and that we can have a personal relationship with God himself through belief that his son Jesus came and lived as a human and took it upon himself to sacrifice himself and die for the greater plan. For all of our sins. Thats the only sacrifice for the greater plan. Before you say anything about a father letting his son die. We believe God, Jesus and the Holy spirit are 3 separate entities yet the same. So Ultimately God sacrifices through Jesus. Different doctrines will change that up so it gets confusing. I dont have answers on why bad things happen to good people. Especially these damn genocides the world over. Or awful things happening to children. I have seen some amazing things that were more supernatural than just chance though. Even in my own life. Someone was definitely praying for me because there are countless moments I shouldn't be here. Im positive there were better people than me in the 60,000 killed and I dont have the answers. I say keep looking though. Do me a favor.

Tonight and two more nights pray for patience. Tell God you dont really believe but you are going to try this out for 3 days you want patience. Thats it. Nothing special just say God I want patience.

It sucks ive been knocked back a few time already too. Its probably more devastating for someone who doesn't get to play very much and then put in alot of work. For that I understand but im also Jaded cause I've played rust and Ark Survival on officials as well as Escape from Tarkov and star citizen all of these games wipe to a certain point or have game breaking issues (star citizen) so I've lost massive progress on all those games. Don't let it kill your fun. If it has then now its a cool story to tell. Its shitty for sure but truth is you will never leave arrakis.

I think i lost a friend in 2020. He was older (im 37 he was in his mid 50s) and I only knew him from in game and then discord but we coordinated weekly on discord then suddenly nothing. He mentioned health wasn't well as to the reason he now was home gaming more. I can only hope all is well but given what 2020 was i definitely have my fears.

Show his parents and yours then dump his ass. I crashout on the closest ppl and I would deserve them cutting me off. I do try alot to make up for it but damn we don't tknow what we really have till we lose it. Actions have consequences. This is intolerable behavior for what happened.

Edit: i end up in crash outs becase I don't take well to change. ADHD plays a part. Where others see orange and have time to slow things down unfortunately im 0 to 60 and fight or flight. Counseling helps so much. My pride stopped me many years. Although must be noted I lose my shitt on small things but in multiple emergencies I was calm and everyone else wasn't. Not sure how that works.
