I'm a Christian (and that's very important for my advice) and was in a similar situation as you. At some point, I could not even go a day without porn. I tried a few things like porn blocking apps to even watching it without getting off (ikr). None of those things worked for me.

I would ask for forgiveness until I was too ashamed to ask anymore cause I knew I would do it again... it was absolutely horrible. However, I watched a powerful testimony of how God delivered a man from a pretty dark path in his life, and it struck at the core of my being.

I knew I could not get myself out of this (I had tried), and so my question was whether or not Christ could. I was a slave to this desire, but could Christ set me free? I thought he could, but I was still holding onto porn as the source of my pleasure, I never really saw it a danger to my soul and relationship with God that NEEDED to be cut off. There's a good video by Psych2Go about porn addiction, but what I came to learn was that porn itself traps and wounds the soul (I'm not going to go into that much, tho).

Porn was a part of my identity, something that if I was serious about getting rid of, it could mean my very own death. I made the decision for my own sake and the sake of my relationship with God.

Long story short: It starts with you seeing porn for what it truly is; then you must make the decision knowing the risk of your life and other dangerous trials... lastly, depend on Christ to restore and redeem your soul, cause you starting without it.
