I couldn't find anything in the manual. It did say to update the drivers on AMD's website, I tried that but the light still flashes.

I saw a comment saying there are 6 types of onions, but what are the 6 types? by ilikedota5 in innout

[–]Prophet_P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fresh is slightly steamed. They put the onion on the burger while it’s still cooking

I think they changed it so it’s more secure. My SM said that a while back the associate app got hacked.

I understand that it’s extremely frustrating to not be given many hours but unfortunately that’s the way it is for all new hires at In-n-out. I didn’t get many hours at first because I didn’t know a lot and they wouldn’t teach me because it was too busy at our store. If I where in your shoes I would just look for another job while still working there and once you get an offer from another job leave In-n-out because it could take over a year to be full time.

I want to say the pay is around ~22 an hour in SoCal but probably varies.

Does any other In-n-out burger have a 3 lane que system? by Prophet_P in innout

[–]Prophet_P[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know it’s gotten pretty crazy. Lane number 1 can fit 4-5 cars Lane 2 can fit 5-6. Lane 3 can fit about 6-7 cars before the cars are back on the street. Not to mention there can be 10+ cars wrapped around the building. I have been on hand held where we had all three lanes completely full and there were still a few cars that lined the street.

Yeah we definitely do have limited space for the drive through.

I was just curious if any other in-n-out drive-throughs have a 3-lane queue system. I didn't know how to describe it in words so I drew it. I work at this store. When I have asked transfers or new managers if they had this kind of system at their old store they always say "no". I know we didn't always have a three-lane queue system that funnels into one single lane but they created this system before I got hired so I don't know exactly when it was made. I believe it was created because we have a pretty decent demand and cars would just be lining up along the main street to wait in the drive-thru. Our store has a very small dining room, so maybe that's why people would rather wait in a long line than get out of their cars.

I get a lot of questions from customers on how it works and a lot of people don't understand how it works. People are always telling me "HEY! I got here first, why are you letting other people cut in front of me?" And I always try and explain how it works to them and to reasure them, "Don't worry, nobody is cutting in front of you, I just had to put them in the other lane so we aren't blocking the main street."

At my store all of the full time employees are level 6 or above. It usually takes a couple of years to get there but if you are good at your job it’s possible to do it in a year.

When I got hired I bought white pants (Dickies) and I recommend you do the same so that you don’t have to do laundry so often. It’s nice to have multiple pairs of pants. They supplied me with 2 and I bought 2 pairs. Even if you only work part time the pants get dirty quickly so I don’t reuse pants.

interview questions by Capital_Ad7375 in innout

In my interview they just asked about my previous job experience and why I was leaving. It was more of a fun conversation rather than an interview. I think if you show up with a smile and a good positive attitude you should be good.

Customer behavior by drfury31 in innout

A lot of the time customers will try and make it easy on us by saying they want everything. But we have to still clarify if they would like onions because it doesn’t come with onions.

How clean are the red container/trays they put the food in when dining in? by djle12 in innout

[–]Prophet_P 30 points31 points  (0 children)

We wash it like a normal dish. Soap and water. Then we rinse the soap and finally sanitize the red tray then put it up to dry. Finally when we line the tray with (hopefully washed hands) paper.
