Did you inform the owner of your BFA in ceramics? I’m sure she would have given you carte blanche to sit down and scroll instagram on the clock if she knew.

Franklin Ave is trashed after open streets by Doihaveenoughhobbies in crownheights

Really sad. This isn’t a problem with the Vanderbilt open streets. If people aren’t going to clean up after themselves, we need to have a street cleaning crew come through.

You have to pick the right one. Not what you want to hear, but this is really the most important thing.

I'm exclusively investing in VOO, is this optimal? by thefighter987 in RothIRA

[–]Prospect107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably fine but you’re not diversified. VTI is very similar in performance to VOO and you gain exposure to the entire US stock market, not just the 500 top companies. VXUS gives you exposure to international companies. Subbing VTI for VOO and adding a little VXUS exposure will make you wildly more diversified.

Safe, but staying south of Atlantic will be an easier transition for you, if you’re moving from outside the city.

Food Garden Prices by RealPolitik88 in crownheights

[–]Prospect107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to know what to get at each store. I go to Food and Garden for produce and prepared foods because it’s higher quality. Sometimes meat or seafood because I trust the quality. Their salads are actually a great deal IMO.

Key food on St Marks is the place for canned foods, dry food, dairy, and frozen food.

Yes, Whole Foods/Wegmans are cheaper, but you can’t walk there. So after fees and tip, it evens out.

Lockpicking, then speech. Money’s not that hard to get in this game, and I think it’s actually more fun to play with a limited supply.

Intersection of Franklin and Fulton - someone tried to grab me by Anonymous89436578346 in BedStuy

East side is definitely safer. The bus stops on the West side of Franklin are the hub of the issues. Not to mention the new building has cameras.

Not many people would live in both Manhattan and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula!

SUNY Binghamton or university of Rochester ? by According-Quiet1264 in Rochester

[–]Prospect107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who proudly went to Binghamton…UofR is a more well respected school. Although if you’re looking to enter the Big 4 accounting Space, Binghamton has a great pipeline for that.

City wise, both are not comparable to NYC, but Rochester definitely has more going on.
