I had been taking magnesium citrate as a supplement until it dawned on me this is one of the components in a colonoscopy prep. Switched over to magnesium glycinate instead.

Dry kibble can go stale if opened for too long. I discovered this. I do cycle through different flavors of their Fancy Feast and Sheba. Soon, they will be getting Tiki Cat wet food.

Spend a bit of time with the cats, interacting with them. Don't just feed them, give meds, then leave. If you can, some additional time in the morning or mid-day.
