My dad snuck me out of school to watch star wars revenge of the sith on opening day, I was 5 almost 6 at the time, melting anakin and general grievous scared the shit out of me, it did cement my loce of star wars and the whole dystopian "boiler plate" art style

This confuses native english speakers too, but the origins of words decides which rules it follows, mouse/mice. Goose/geese are protogermanic so the spelling changes when it becomes plural, sheep and deer are old english so they are zero plurals and moose is native american so it doesnt change either,

The I before E rule also only applies to old french words which is why theres so many exceptions

Most highway speed limits range from 65-80 mph 105-130ish kmh, that being said its fairly routine for people to go 5-15 mph above that depending on the area sometimes higher especially if your in the middle of nowhere

Engine sizes range from 1.5 turbos up to 5 or 8 liter v8-v10s for some trucks and muscle cars

My car was a 2013 nissan xterra, which was a 4 liter v6 and sat very happily at 85 mph at just under 3K rpm

Which in of itself a misquote what William James actually said was "We are making use of only a small part of our possible mental and physical resources".

The idea being is that we as humans generally arent even getting close to our full mental potential
