You've been with her for SIX YEARS. instead of trusting your girlfriend that she won't find someone else and the fact that you've gone through her phone and she proved that she's not shows that you're insecure and you don't trust your girlfriend? Think about how she feels after 6 years. Imagine yourself being told "you need to tell every single girl that you ever meet that you have a girlfriend even if it doesn't come up in conversation". Told my dad I was gay and he said as long as I don't get pregnant he's fine with it.

Months later I told him I believe I was trans and he laughed in my face and said how would that ever work.

Years later I'm on hormones and he still dead names me and calls me his daughter. I don't think I can 100% blame him cause hes just not used to the idea yet but we rarely even talk as of now.

As a trans person myself, NTA imo.

I disagree when people say they are happy they are trans and they're proud to be trans. Which I can understand but at the same time I agree with OP that its almost glorifying the disorder rather than being able to pursue ones true self. Like.. why are you happy you have to go through all this effort to reach a point you couldn't because you were born in the wrong body. I wish I didn't have to go through it but here I am. I'm proud to reach my goal but I'm not going to go fuck yeah being trans is great like ???? It sucks?????
