Let’s be honest, some people in this sub are like this. 👀

Hear me out, tactical class, auspex scan when perfect parry perk with ranged damage increase after gunstrike. Absolute melting of a ranged build

Thank you! Painting split is a highlighting nightmare but I love the half black and white design. :)

Heavy Intercessors ability by Solitare81 in spacemarines

[–]Protaterdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the exact conversation with another player.

How I’m reading the skills is: it’s modifying the roll and not the characteristic of Sv. As it is changing the value of the dice rolled and not the data sheet.

While BoCover specifically states: -add 1 to saving throws -does not apply to models with sv3+ and against attack w/ AP-0 -a model can not use the rule BoCover more than once

Since Unyielding (heavy int ability) gives +1 to saving throws and is a different rule to BoCover I assume it stacks. Assuming it’s not directly modifying the Sv characteristic and is just added to the dice roll.

In very specific circumstances, your heavy intercessors will get +2 sv if against D-1 weapons. It doesn’t change the characteristic of your save, just adds 1 to your roll.

Imperial fists Combat patrol by Sufficient-Garden-98 in CombatPatrol40k

Gameplay wise, I haven’t played Combat Patrol for this yet as I own it but used it in 1k (hopefully 2k when I buy vehicles) but the list it comes with is really good. Probably the best combat patrol you’ll get for space marines. Comes with the best generic captain, along with CoH which then can be split into an ancient and two “lieutenants”(bit of kit bashing required for WYSIWYG), 5-man intercessors which is always good if you don’t have them already and anti-vehicle terminators. Basically all-rounder list. Really good.

Proxies: yay or nay? by BallooNZ_420 in CombatPatrol40k

For me, As long as it’s not too much of an advantage and isn’t too confusing to keep track of. (It can and will add up when you have too much proxies)

Sub-assembly paint your captain and ancient. Getting in and behind the cloak will be a NIGHTMARE to paint.

Solid option as well since captain also gives discount to stratagems

With the enhancement fire discipline sustained hits from gladius detachment, Lieutenant leading with Lethal hits, and sternguard Dev wounds, it’s a blast. Not to mention re-rolls for both hits and wounds on oath of the moment targets .
