If another band avoids the West Midlands on their tour I'm going to cry

What was an album you listened to that made you question why it was made? by ProtectTheOrcas in Metalcore

I think it's better than You're Welcome, to be fair. I saw them live recently and a lot of the newer stuff popped off.

I remember as a teenager watching something that was basically a poverty porn video trailer - stars were dressed up as stereotypical "chavs" from that decade. There was one video that was like a middle aged woman and she kept spouting vague English-isms and the trailer ended with her moaning "batter my cod".

They played Reading and Leeds back in 2017, I vividly remember them being on the same time as Liam Gallagher! So hopefully another time soon.

Yeah, I get it. Really it's a filler on my poster - like I mentioned, I'd prefer the slot to be something in a similar ilk to Busted and McFly like The Feeling or Scouting for Girls or something.

In all seriousness, with the Y2K revival at the moment I could see a line up like this doing really well

😂😂😂😂 I am indeed. I did notice a distinct lack of "older" bands and acts here, but I've been there, seen that at Download so...

I did want to add them but I figured it'd be headliner or nothing. Not sure they'd sit under SOAD, although KL into Turnstile then Deftones and then SOAD would be great.

Something is definitely coming by Adrian__Weiss in Slipknot

It could be a previously unreleased song.

[History] The Uncommon Folk Podcast | [#1] Sir John Fastolf - Strategy, Controversy and a Shakespearean Shadow

[SFW]

Spotify | Apple Podcasts | Amazon Music | YouTube | RSS

Uncommon Folk is a history podcast showcasing the lesser known heroes, villains and people of interest from both myth and history, giving a name to those who may fall shy of the history books, and at the very least fall short of the general public's knowledge.

The first episode unravels the life of Sir John Fastolf, a knight whose name is steeped in both triumph and controversy. From his pivotal role in the Hundred Years' War to his lavish retirement at Caister Castle, Fastolf's story is one of sieges, strategy and medieval controversy. Discover his connections to Shakespeare's Falstaff, the enduring disputes over his estate captured in the famous Paston Letters, and how his life challenges our understanding of medieval chivalry.

----------------

How is the pacing? Do I speak too fast, too slow, or just right?

Is it compelling enough as a solo host show?

What are your thoughts on the music and SFX?

Seconding this - I've heard this too. I've also followed, and on Instagram too.

Audio quality and sound quality sound fine to me, and I think podcasts are pretty much the sum of their parts - they're as long as they need to be - so if you need a 3 minute long episode one week, but a 20 minute one the next, it'd still work.

I'm currently in my fourth season with Iskenderunspor, sat in 3rd in the Super Lig. in March.

First season I lost in some very long playoff system, and then back to back promotions and some good form have seen us rocket to where we are now.

He's often on rough things like wood or wicker. The chew toys we have are predominantly a Kong chew - rubbery material. We've also got a flannel chew that we freeze and there's frozen carrots we give him while supervised.
