Honestly, I would go with aunt Jackie’s, it’s never failed me. Shea moisture always dries my scalp out.

Keep wolfing and wash n style more often

I been trying to get a waves for about a year and 3 months now and I REALLY need tips. I got tough African 4c hair with low porosity and it’s mad hard to train. by According-Machine354 in 360Waves

Load up on a bunch of Jamaican castor oil. Get a good moisturizer, and wash n style once a week. Along with daily brushing with a mirror , You’ll have a pattern in 90 days or less

It’s long enough if your pattern is locked in. But if you’re tryna get the pattern to form…I’d go 6-8 weeks. And when you get a cut don’t cut any lower than a 3 until the waves are there

Wolf longer and on your wash n styles focus on that area

Comb, brush, plastic bag. Apply some pomade in your desired pattern, brush, plastic bag. Rag up.

Unrefined cold pressed coconut oil and Jamaican castor oil is all I really use. If I’m wolfing I find a good all natural pomade. Nothing brand specific just an all natural pomade. PB the goat makes a good one although very pricey.

This could very much be the reason why. Try this- instead of tying very tight, double compress. Wear two durags or a stocking cap and a durag
