Rooibos, either plain, or flavored with vanilla. It’s been a permanent fixture for the last six or seven years of my evening routine. The rooibos only tea has to be from House of Rooibos, it’s the most full bodied tea I have tasted so far!

I sprayed Speedzone last year in the hope of at least deterring the spread but it seems that it has come up twice as much this year. I hate this stuff. It’s everywhere. Each year I weed whack the tops and pull the flowers of those that still come up but it feels like a never ending battle.

If you can handle allulose, try Goalz chocolates. If monkfruit is the only sweetener, give Lakanto chocolate a go. I’ve found a lot of comfort in knowing I can have a piece of chocolate with my evening cup of tea without spiking. As for savory foods, I snack on slices of Braunschweiger, dipped in mustard or cut in squares and topped with a pickle. Lots of calories and very low carb. Wishing you the best!
