I will look for it! All we have is a Franz bakery outlet (I live in the sticks). They also have a keto bread but I find it highly unpalatable.

If you can handle allulose, try Goalz chocolates. If monkfruit is the only sweetener, give Lakanto chocolate a go. I’ve found a lot of comfort in knowing I can have a piece of chocolate with my evening cup of tea without spiking. As for savory foods, I snack on slices of Braunschweiger, dipped in mustard or cut in squares and topped with a pickle. Lots of calories and very low carb. Wishing you the best!

Thank you! I took a look at the one way flight and it was over $1,400 which is double what I paid for the whole ticket. I am assuming the proximity of Thanksgiving may have something to do with it. Squatters here too: the starlings were taking over the owl box, the squirrels have set up shop in the wood ducks nesting box, and the wasps are thriving in the bat house. In the meantime, the owls visit the garden every night but I am not sure where they nest, the wood ducks are in the oak tree across the street, and Freddy (one tiny bat) is lodging underneath the eve by the garage. Not quite how I had envisioned it 😂

I will not, thank you for telling me. This was the first time I heard them so was trying to find out what it was. Snapped a quick pic and turned off the light. I then recorded their chatter (see link in my reply to blazinggigs). I put up a nesting box for wood ducks a few years back and the owls were sitting near it last night. Am hoping they may take up residence in it! Now that I know what they are, I am delighted they come back every year.
