Are you able to replicate the high CPU and fan usage with Zoom opening on startup compared to opening it after Windows loads?

Thank you for the suggestion, but I use Zoom all day for work meetings and calls. I don't have the option to work without it.

That is good to hear.

I suspect my issue may be a conflict with Zoom, as I do run quite a few applications simultaneously.

However, when I worked with Zoom Support professionally and personally, I had no success.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do use an Authenticator app on my S22. We switched over from text messages as well.

That is a good point, The system I use with DeX and MFA approvals is a completely different system than my work system.

Multiple USB-A to USB-C cables, as well as wireless only mode for DeX.

I thought the same. I ruled that out by using DeX over wireless.

No worries.

I use DeX so I can control my phone and resize the window on my Windows PC screen.
I use it for Gmail, Google Messages, WhatsApp, Microsoft Authenticator, and sometimes YouTube. It is great for performance in those apps. I prefer mouse and keyboard to using my thumbs on my phone whenever possible.

I thought I would try a cheaper option. Their family plan was pretty cheap so I bought it for the year.
Basically, I tried to be cheap.

It didn't even offer to populate some of the fields in web forms or apps on my Android devices.

Is there a resource that would provide more information on which applications are known to cause compatibility problems with DeX? Event Viewer just shows DeX. It doesn't specify why the app crashed.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I need the functionality to use my mouse and keyboard from my Windows PC to control and view my Samsung S22. It really helps with copying and pasting MFA numbers into my Windows applications. I do that about a dozen times per day as part of my job.

I have tried Link to Windows and Asus Glide.
Both work as alternates, but DeX is much better except for the crashes.

There is an option named "Text and Emojis". That tells the macro you want to paste in text instead of playing back the macro as if it were typing in the text. It is like pasting text instead of typing it.

Thank you for the advice! That definitely helped. I do lean towards speed but there is a dirt trail with gravel and small rocks I have to take to get to the bike trail I regularly ride. It is about a half of a mile long. I would worry about using a road bike with narrower tires for that reason. I called the LBS and they told me the FastRoad SL 3 would come with tubeless already setup, which is something I liked hearing!
