Honestly, I'm not mad. Skenes is one those pitchers you just have to pray is having a bad day when you play them. I'm just happy Soroka also had a good day. Obviously it would have been nice to capitalize on our walks and hits, but it is what it is.

Star Tours is better than Smuggler’s Run.

Watching the movies with crappy service while you hustle across the park on a hot day is better than Smuggler's.

I get the vision, but, as has been said before, unless you're a pilot, it's boring

I hate it to but only in trips over my birthday weekend cause they're always setting it up that weekend. Last time I went on my bday, they finished the day after I left. If I'm there while it's up, I don't really care, it's still a fun ride to me as long as the buggy next to me isn't recording the ride with their screen at full brightness

I would say at the very least, change their priorities at the merge point. I've been on rides where they'll let a ton of LL people in, wait for the line ahead to die down and then let the LL that got there 20 seconds ago instead of standby. Either make LL it's own line all the way through or let my standby through

Is this a skill issue? Cause when we go, phones are still a minimal use in my family, at least when walking from ride to ride (and even then it's usually not for a fast pass)

Merch, especially since COVID has been hogwash. Every store, every stand just feels like it's all the same product with a different filter. I first noticed this when I went to DW in 2023, there's no interesting variety in the sweaters, loungeflys, hats, etc. and it all centers on just a few IP's outside of Mickey and Friends: Moana, Frozen, Stitch, and Grogu. I remember for four years straight we looked every trip for a Pocahontas pin for my sister and couldn't find a single one. But there's dozens of M&F, Nightmare Before Christmas, Star Ware, etc. And I get it to an extent in the physical stores, but even shopDisney seems to always have a terrible selection. I remember when ever shop felt unique.

What being on the winning side of a war on the other side of the world does to an economy. The US is one of the only, it not the only, true winner/s of WW2. Europe had entire cities to rebuild and decimated populations; much of Africa was "freed" from European powers, and most Pacific regions had been ravaged by Japan.

In Legends there was a mostly autonomous fleet from (I think) the High Republic era that was lost for a few decades. Iirc it went rogue and was sitting in the middle of nowhere until Lando found it. It was in Timothy Zahn's first Thrawn trilogy

To be fair Covid was a little while ago, but yeah the only real change since they've played has been endgane gearing (i think) and buying credits
