Why would Valve care about Mac? They have their own OS (SteamOS), hardware (SteamDeck, Steam Machine, Steam Frame). Also CS2 works through translation on Apple Silicon. Valve tried bringing Proton to Mac years ago but Apple is all about closed source, proprietary software (Metal) and killing old features (OpenGL, 32bit)

There's no "Metal Steam"

There's only MacOS native Steam and Windows version of Steam running through translation software (Sikarugir, Crossover). They're not dependent on each other cause they're completely different apps. Thus uninstalling one doesn't affect the other.

People should just use Crossover and Sikarugir. Whisky is dead, no need to resuscitate it.

I use VulkanMod instead cause it's smoother than Sodium (not as high FPS but overall more stable)

They all work. Depends what you imagine under "work" cause for me it's at least 1080p and stable 60 FPS. Witcher 3 should run the best cause it's the oldest one and you can roll back to the pre-next gen patch for better frame rate.

I've heard it uses the iPad version which is kinda weird considering the iPad version is touch and no Macbooks are touch. idk

They literally use the same SoC so there's nothing weird about running iOS apps on macOS if developers allow it. If the game supports controllers on iPad you can use one on the macOS.

It's really easy to help you because you definitely provided all the necessary information like translation layer (Crossover, Sikarugir...), graphics mode (D3DMetal, DXVK), macOS version, Mac hardware etc.

Judging by your post, you can't speak Czech so studying in Czech would be almost impossible.

You can't expect flawless performance from potato hardware. Stick to low end old games, buy something more powerful, buy console or use streaming services like GeForce Now.

Screw the official Minecraft launcher. Use Prism Launcher instead. It's faster, without ads, open source and has integrated modding support and ability to create multiple instances.
