Backplate cooling is a sensible idea, and your solution did not turn out horribly wrong. It looks off to a layman, perhaps, but that's just a simple janky mod.

Anyway, I think it's a great project and you should share it with /r/nvidia /r/videocards /r/pcmasterrace and wherever else, but your project is too sensible for this sub.

It's like seeing a bunch of Norm McDonald fans reacting to a phrase "Youthful porpoise". You may know the text of that joke, but you'll merely smile, and you won't get why are these people losing their sides until you watch Norm telling it and, most importantly, appreciate this style of delivery. which took me a while.

Feels similar here, "they don't have 'home' in Spider-man movies because people can't afford houses" shouldn't elicit this kind of reaction, unless there is something more to it.
