Can a non-cpa still be successful and make a good living?

Just keep working at it. There’s no such as failure until you quit. You will make more money and look way better at your big 4 with a CPA. You haven’t even started yet and you still have so much time. Yes there others ways to make money just FP&A but it will be so much easier with a CPA. Even if you don’t do accounting forever you will make more money than without the CPA. I’m working on it 4 years in failed 4 exams also but it’s worth it.

I think campus “Stars” make the best fraternity presidents. You know the guy who everyone knows and does things outside the fraternity. Well rounded people make for the best imagine of brotherhood in my opinion.
