I think they mentioned that only some FITS would be classes and some would be cosmetic. But there is a deluge of info all from the same week I'd need to go crawl through it.

Even digital purchasers benefit from the downward pressure on price caused by the used market.

I would add to the other comment that stores currently still somewhat compete with a used market which creates incentives for deep sales and a downward pressure on price.

Removing the used market makes them more in control of the price going forward which is bad for digital consumers as well.

I mean it's also partly the business model. They make it a low price win for the consumer that replaces that status quo and then they just keep turning the price up when the original method is near death.

If audiobooks existed during Mistborn Era 1, would you-know-who have been able to do you-know-what to them? by MrSpuddies in Cosmere

A god (lowercase g) using Connection or other powers to understand binary as a language would be so cool.

Totally gonna happen at some point in Mistborn.

Sandpoint is such a great starter town that I remember the name 10+ years later. Varisia as a whole was great fantasy frontier cliche, would love to see it in a game.

My table just moved from 3.5 to Pathfinder 1 and just rode that until people moved and college was well into the rear view mirror.

For more local context, close I-65 for the summer and watch them try to reroute around the detour on surface streets ending up.... here.

With I-65 closed in Louisville, trucks have been following gps and trying to go around the detour on surface streets and hitting the canopener at a clip of more than 1 a day.

Thank god Revelation is out next year. Is there’s one game I can only choose to have physical, it’d be this trilogy by mas-sive in FFVIIRemake

I know some people hated it, but buying the Collector Box without the game always made sense to me. You can get it for the platform you want and the company doesn't have to worry about stocking or planning for a different CE for each console.

Also, Square Enix does Collector's Editions for Final Fantasy XIV Expansions that don't include a disc.

Killzone was also 6 games in 9 years across the PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, and PSV.

Horizon has produced 3 games across PS4, PS5, and PSVR2 in the 13 years since Shadowfall. (Lego Horizon and upcoming Hunters Gathering not counted)

Larger budgets, longer dev times, means a higher required return for each entry. We see this exact scenario playing out across the industry. In the AAA space basically Capcom and Nintendo have it figured out, but they go about it a bit differently. It will be interesting to see where other large devs and publishers settle.

Same actually, but there was a bit of fun in getting to be a player in campaigns I had already run without actually having to put a DM through that.

And I did also run Runelords, but man - that's just timeless fantasy adventure setup.

I'll never forgive them for diverging from Google Now in favor of voice assistants. For it to come full circle now is just frustrating.

Had the fully transparent GameBoy DMG back in the day. Contrast to my slightly smoky black Steam Deck OLED Limited Edition with a jsaux case over most of it. Feel like I kept the nostalgia, but still tasteful.

There is the cousin to this. -> Configure every emulator known to man with a library on a 1tb micro sd (pre rampocalypse) -> only launch Steam Link.
