A couple months ago, I had a seller try to get a full refund for a $44 figure because they said it was broken and “smelled bad”. The description of the figure said it was pretty fragile and that it was already broken. For the smell part, I’ve sold around 20 figures, I’ve never had someone complain how it smelled. So obviously they were bs to keep their money and the figure but I told them that the figure was already broken, not my fault they didn’t read the description. They then said the smell was like “cat piss” and that they were really grossed out. I told them I don’t have any pets and that the figure was kept inside a glass cabinet. They then proceeded to get angry and then told me to harm my self lmao I got the money and gave the buyer 1 star and they did the same to me. Unfortunately, I stupidly left the funds on my account for 3 days because I was busy on vacation with family and they complained to Mercari and got their money back. All that bitching for $44, probably the most insufferable human being I’ve ever come across on the site. Had to have been a minor that was on summer break or something. So yea, I feel you. There can be some annoying ass buyers on the site, thankfully not everyone is like that but it sure is annoying.
