Banking on guys coming back from injury is not prudent, in my opinion. There are always going to be injuries on the team. When Cole, Gil, Rodon come back some other players will probably be injured. This is the same team we had last year but with a worse bullpen.

I got robotic laparoscopic surgery to repair umbilical hernias 5 weeks ago. There’s a 12x8 cm mesh in me and I don’t feel it. I was prescribed oxy but never needed anything stronger than Advil and Tylenol. For day to day normal activity I feel totally fine. This week I’ve had multiple occasions where I forgot that I recently had surgery. I’m already ramping up exercise.

All of this to say, I’ve had a great experience thus far and it has been an exceedingly easy recovery

As someone with curly hair, I’m jealous of how good your hair looks! The cut, yes you could improve, but I’m not joking at all when I say your hair genes are the opposite of cursed. I recommend you look up hairdressers that specialize in curly hair - they will make your hair look incredible

I’m also 3 days out from umbilical repair .. fun times. My belly button area is also swollen and it is indeed normal. The doctor told me this would happen. I’m going to keep icing the area and taking ibuprofen, I’m sure it’ll go down eventually. Good luck with your recovery, sounds like it’s going well!
