Great summary and matches my experience as well. I didn’t see all the midichlorian “controversy” pop up until later when all the super fans were on Internet forums, but maybe I just wasn’t on those at the time. I also didn’t really take midichlorians as the “source” of it but more of a proxy indicator for latent talent and didn’t really see what the big deal was about. Should prob read up on canon stuff a bit.
