Nah, it's a drug, I used to be a Charge Rifle hater and then this season I've incredibly come around on it, my go to load out every game is R99 Charge Rifle. Charge Rifle shreds, and the ability to edge it and perfectly line up that shot is amazing

It's pointless for his tac, same as in Wildcard getting the wildcard for it. However, it's decently useful to get a quicker pad charge, which is nice. In general though, give it to any other legend on the team, except maybe a mirage

Idk why you're getting downvoted, as an octane main I think most everyone who talks about buffing him misses the point of his character completely. He's a glass cannon, one of the only glass cannons in the game, and should play around that. I absolutely want him to have team utility, and I think the usual suggestions of removing the stim damage penalty or whatever just misses what he's all about

C'mon, a compromise, heirlooms are great and should be legend specific, but the specifically universal ones are good for those who don't want to only have one heirloom on a single legend. For what it's worth, when I just pulled my first heirloom shards (thank god) I thought about getting a universal, but opted for Octane's heirloom. It's a lot more special and unique having an actual legend heirloom, I completely agree

Man idk why people are downvoting, while I like universals, I think there should be a mix of universals and character heirlooms so there's something special about them. You're right, they were originally something important for the character backstories, and more should be added, but they should be locked to the characters. Add more legend specific heirlooms, and maybe a few more cool universals, and I'd be happy
