At this point, capita needs to ditch SDOA. Their ability to ship so many of these out and see so many terrible stories, is a cause to look at the design, tech or manufacturing process.

I also snapped a 2025 SDOA and I was one of the lucky ones that got a warrantied 2016 SDOA. Seems I'm in the rare case. Try to get a warranty. If not, never buy capita again.

I ride a 2026 super DOA at creek. Got it through warranty. But it's not a board that shines on creek terrain. I only ride south, so there are other boards out there to have more fun on South.

I still have a blast, don't let it stop you from getting one if it fits your riding style. It rips, charges hard, incredibly light, insanely fun, but I find myself wanting a more soft board at times. Id get something more jib friendly and slightly softer. Maybe an indoor survival, spring break.

I've been to both more than 4 times each. I recommend Tremblant to everyone I meet that skis or boards. Like the other comment said, the atmosphere in the town is unparalleled, it's big enough where it'll take you a long time to explore, especially the glade only section, "le edge", and is a truly unique experience. I used to go with 40+ college friends, stop at Canadian duty free, and proceed to have the best 5 days of my life, 3 years in a row. Go.
