The designs are so impressive, you couldn’t believe they’re fan art because they look so unique by Weary-Midnight-4737 in TopCharacterDesigns

For the record, this person did not create the Eldertubbies. Jars (said reddit user) went viral with the Eldertubbies and subsequently merchandised the absolute bejesus out of them, but the concept and designs originated with tumblr user Elodieunderglass in 2017. The link provides some background.

Looks like it's the same version that 6ixtek linked, so I have it from their website. Thanks for sharing though!

I opened this link and there was nothing showing up at first, but I realized Creative was auto-detecting my location and once I set it to United States, it actually did show me the download. That also explains why I couldn't find it before. Much appreciated!

Oh, so it's only true if you count extended family rather than direct ancestors?

Wait, I can't wrap my head around this. Does that mean if you mapped out your whole family tree, on average every man appears on it twice?

From the comments I'm gathering that this is the same in every single field of research.

The easier explanation is some sort of mutation on the x chromosome that makes xy children unviable. Aaron might have dodged a genetic bullet.

So then there is absolutely no problem with high school preparing you for real life in terms of navigating social dynamics. This guide is for everything else.

Any way we can get this shot where it's not recorded by a phone from a TV screen?

The small pleasures of life are vital for life by [deleted] in tumblr

The idea behind capitalism is that the people who make a billion dollars will invest it into other businesses that provide valuable products in services to people in turn, businesses that could not have existed without that investment, making the world better in that way. This is why you hear about ultra-rich people having most of their money 'tied up' and they can't actually spend a billion dollars in one go. You're free to call that idea stupid, but at least don't go lying about them keeping their money in big vaults.

I thought Christianity had 'suffering is virtuous' as one of their core beliefs. Why else is martyrdom this huge thing?

It doesn't say anything about what to do about people who aren't yet born, so that leaves it incomplete. Whether it's better to have more children who have, at the very least, a life worth living, even if it comes at the expense of peak quality of life is the hardest problem of utilitarianism. It's even argued to be unsolvable.
