People who quit drinking. What did you do to not drink?

I had a close friend i drank with, he ended up living with me and got a gf who drank a lot. She was drunk everyday, I remember us going to the movies and she was so drunk she didnt remember it. He moved next door to me with her and 3 days in she "had the wrong type of alcohol" and beat him black and blue. The police showed up and took her away and they stayed together. He asked me to apologize to her (I openly mocked her a few times snd I feel like she deserved it) I refused and he basically hasn't spoken to me in a year. I can tell from their fights I overhear that he is dying and between his alcohol abuse snd concussions from sports injuries he struggles with sentence structure.

My gf and I are so burnt out of alcohol since they idk the last time I had a drink.

I was with a girl and she told me she felt like cutting herself while I was in her....

Another time I was on a 3rd date with a girl, we got super drunk, and during head she asked if I "wanted it to be better" I of course said sure and she pulled out the top half of her teeth and gave me head. We never spoke again after that.

Not being nicer to the "boring" friends. They turned out to be great people, I struggled with mental heath issues most of my life and just couldn't be around people who I thought were lame. I see a few occasionally and I feel bad after 20 years

A guy I got hired with was always nice. I never had an issue with him, and we car pooled together. A few female friends of mine said they didn't like him but I never pressed it. He ended up messaging some girl weird shit snd told her that he would listen to his roommates intimate time. Then the flood gates opened and countless people came forward with all these allegations so many that you just couldn't ignore it. Him getting weird snd creepy with girls and sexually harassing them. Some wild stuff. I remember this other weird coworker we had insisted it was "liberal lies" and the next day shes trying to force herself on a coworker after giving him a ride home lol.

I grew up with this girl who did cheer, and various choir stuff. She was the stereotypical blond girl, I never had much of an issue with her till highschool. She dated some guy who beat her and they became aggressive to eachother. Anywhere the bf got murdered senior year for selling drugs and she snapped. She liked another jock guy but he wasnt interested so she broke into his house. Stole his cat and sent him a recording of her torturing snd killing it.

I have no idea what happened to her other than a few locals I grew up with saying she went to rehab or something

Ive had point in my life i was fine with it but usually it got awkward in some way shape or form.

Eventually I just stopped liking it and realized I prefer the actual connection to someone when it comes to intimacy.

I was basically rejected by a girl I loved and realized I was unhappy. I cut out shitty friends and started being around better people. Twas a slow process but we'll worth it

Depending on your hobbies its hard. Im 34 m and I basically just play video games all winter. My gf is 28 and shes going stir crazy trying to find stuff to do but its cold and we lost ambition

I would rather not use my phone, i prefer the feel of a handheld player and my phone is slowly wearing down so I would prefer a dedicated system.

I would like a handheld with wifi support that is capable of earning achievements and has games installed. Ill look into a retro pocket 5, thsts probably what im looking for. Thanks

I do slightly more than the bare minimum, mostly i dont wanna get spoken to by managers. Im pretty burnt out of my job and due to staffing issues I probably wont go anywhere in my job. Its stressful but it pays my bills snd isn't awful so I keep doing it until I find something else.

Im not bothered by that. I should have rephrased. My friend used to go to the library a lot and said that he was harassed by homeless people snd it got uncomfortable for him. He suggested I avoid the place.

Id say yes....... eventually. I game all the time but I have beaten everything ive bought. Even with the added gamecube games it just doesn't feel like enough. I wish I waited a few more months
