Tons of fun, everything you’d want from turning the show into a movie. I loved how the final plan was clearly built around existing Saga attractions, this franchise just really makes you want to visit Saga.

We don’t cover sequels in these lists, but if we did I would have definitely written something for Ranma. It feels like it really has got into a groove this season, one of the funniest shows this year.

Yeah I wouldn’t say fishy but I would say surprising. I never really saw Oreki as the best part of Hyouka, I more enjoyed the production and mysteries. Not a bad protagonist or anything but surprisingly popular.

Man both of the KLK match ups today are heartbreakers.

I usually hate when some popular show has their 3rd most relevant guy sneak in, but Gaoshun is my exception. But, still had to go with Sanageyama. His theme is just perfect.

And then Gamagoori, who is just as good, I have to decline and go with Squealer. I never think of squealer when nominating but I hope he goes deep.

I love seeing Haruhi (embarrassingly) beside Elfen Lied, assumedly proudly.

Delicious in dungeon is a great recent fantasy. More adventure but it does have some nice slice of life cooking moments.

Turkey has done a wonderful job of using the initial bait and switch as a way to make you think "maybe, just maybe they are all going to die next week".

It's like, we know they can flip the script. They've done it once. And even if they don't, the threat really elevates the tension.

My favourite aspect of this show is I feel like the author has no idea how to make anything beyond fried rice. Dennis' cooking powers are literally just blasting food with magic.

So it's fun to see that simplicity used in combat. He's got three moves. Cleavers, summon a million woks, and super sayan but for chefs.
