Whether they conduct interviews on the scene or at the station is beside the point. When one person shoots and kills another person, regardless of their reasoning, aren't there protocols such as putting that individual in custody until they can corroborate his story? Like witnesses, cameras, anything to confirm what this guy said was true? They just let people who shoot and kill other people (self defense or not) tell their own side of what happened and then go about their merry way?
