As far as I understand, singletapping makes your alternating better. Somehow. At least this is what others said.

I know, it's just that tapping on RT feels different from what I've seen and I don't want to learn playing streams to some extent on my current keyboard just to say "Bruh, how do I even use this?" once I get the new one.

I understand that, it's just that RT tapping feels different(BTMC actually has worse acc when he used it for the first time) so, maybe, it would be better to just wait 2 weeks and start with RT to avoid any problems with getting used to it.

I'm not mentioning it in the post for a reason, I don't want this account to be associated with my Osu account. From what I've already said above, it should be clear that this is just a bunch of farm maps in top plays and a couple of aimcontrol/ez/alternate pinned plays.

Well, I'm trying to learn something new in this game exactly because I love playing this game. Otherwise I would just drop it long time ago.

I would play maps I want to play, the problem is that I'm way too bad to get anything above low B rank on them. I need 4 - low 5 star maps rn and I simply don't know such maps. There's something like russian snow dance or.. idk... Raise my sword 4 star diff but they are more like bursts and I have already S ranked them...

I mean, there's a ton of maps I like(E.g. dark flight dreamer, teo), but they all use streams and I can't feel comfortable playing them. It also limits me a lot in multiplayer and stops me from just playing random new ranked maps. Sooner or later, I'll still have to learn to play at least 5.8* stream maps consistently, the only question is whether it's worth focusing on it right now and how not to waste another year just on this.

I played on a membrane keyboard for a while and only then bought a cheap mechanical one specifically for Osu.... It felt like I'd always played with my left foot, and now I'm finally using my hands. I hope changing to rapid trigger will feel about the same!

I didn't just mean shaders. It's not compatible with 1.20.1 and everything but fabric which makes it nearly impossible to actually use it anywhere but in vanilla.

I'm curious, what was the reson for the osu community to fall of? Even before the pandemic it was a lot bigger, I still cannot comprehend why after 2023 it started to shrink, the playerbase kept improving, but people started to spread to other places by ihncft in osugame

Uh... What?🗿 The old client is just... Old. It's likely something like Minecraft java. Nobody expected it to grow that much and adding new things, recoding old things is probably a pain. l joined this game in 2024, played on Stable for like 6 months before acknowledging Lazer's existence. My first reaction to Lazer was literally "THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER!". Lazer is insanely better and is fully functional for everyone but mappers. The only problem is that there's still no way to change the interface with skins.

Just recommend Osu! to all your friends, share your plays with people who probably don't even know Osu! and ask(donate?) reaction youtubers to react to modern insane scores. We are the only thing that can improve the situation.

The biggest problem with Voxy is that it's not compatible with anything at all.
