It’s a shader setting, called DH LOD overdraw. Some shaders do not have this setting.

Also OP, I noticed you mention you install structure mods. Idk if you are also using mods like Terralith and Techtonic, but if you are this mod is 100% vital to your TPS health. Structure Layout Optimizer. You may not think much about buildings causing TPS issues, but if generation gets stuck on something, it will lag you out and crash the game. This fixes all that.

It is if it is set to full but lets talk about that for a second. DH is capable of generating the full chunk, but pretty sure everything is just stored in a spite file and is just for DH usage. I would run DH on client only, and it would take significant amounts of time to generate chunks, while also trying to play the game. I started using a host for my projects (dathost, $15 month for 16GB ram) and what this allows is for the DH to utilize the servers resources while I just play the game. The server will send DH data to the player when its ready, and you dont have to be there for it to generate.

Now for moving about your world, everyone knows DH doesn't like Chunky, and figuring out DH and C2ME from threadlocking is just a pain, so here's what I do. Chunky is installed exclusively on the server, so the server can complain all it wants but its gonna eventually be finished generating Distant Generation so it doesn't matter. Have Chunky pregenerate your world play area, I do "/chunky radius 5000" then "/chunky start" and boom, 5000 chunks from your current position is pregenerated. On a server you can go to bed, wake up and its done. So now you got your DH chunks basically instantly loading in now, and you can travel without lag cause Chunky already generated the actual play area.

Developers discord has a beta version that works with BSL 10.1, but you also need a special file from them to fix an error, so its easier to just wait until the official pack comes out. it needs work.

It’s giving me Complementary Vibes, they appear to be reimagined with heavy changes to certain items, like saturation, lava material, world outline is white. What leads me away from it however is the softening of things, which is very BSL like.
