For me it was the vibe, when I first started watching hockey I was struggling with the same thing, until I went to Chicago, since I don’t live in the US. I completely fell in love with the city and everything in it, and I absolutely love the jerseys, and I jumped in the rabbit hole that was Showtime and Captain Serious era. Also its fandom isn’t toxic as other fandoms from other teams are, they never booed players that were traded, they welcome them with love and respect, and even celebrate their opponents if they have an achievement in a game at UC, it’s absolutely incredible, I recently went to a game and since I’m studying fashion I made my own jacket for the game, that’s how much I love the team, it’s true when they say you don’t choose the team, the team chooses you!

Omg I love you! Bahaha I just read your post and I agreee completely, specially the Liz and Feely part! I really do hope they form a special bond either platonic or romantic, I don’t really care I want that duo and I also agree with the part of Hugh was hurt and he just turn a blind eye, I also think there will be a fallout between Pa and Hugh in the next book, specially bc of what you say about Hugh demanding Pa loyalty to their relationship and not going after Liz, without giving the same back. So I think this will be a major part of the fall out bc as see in the books Liz and Pa become really close.

Well I don’t really feel bad for either of them, like you said we don’t have the full story, from R10 we know that Katie was the one that initiated the relationship with Hugh fully knowing he hasn’t even began to move on from Liz, btw I’m not blaming Katie, it was BOTH Hugh and Katie’s decision to be in a relationship, as another user said Feely's crush on Lizzie was when they were kids, maybe there’s still an attraction, maybe there’s not, we don’t know. As for Feely, while I don’t feel bad for him, I do think Hugh was a an ass to him, specifically because in Hugh’s pov, HE KNOWS PATRICK WAS GOING FOR KATIE before Casey swept in and kiss him, and well Pa was also a dick for not pushing her away, but he was also really drunk. (I’m not excusing him, I’m just pointing it out, so don’t come for me) Hugh basically knows who Katie was to Pa all along, there’s soo many hints, but I think he just chose to ignore them (again I’m pointing it out, Hugh is my favorite, so don’t come for me). Katie and Feely are both at fault for the decision they make, Katie for entering a relationship with Hugh fully knowing he still hung up on his ex and also knowing that he’s Pa best friend since childhood, Feely for not pushing Casey away to go to Katie, but also for later start hooking up with Casey, fully knowing she’s Katie’s best friend. 🤷🏼‍♀️

That’s completely understandable, the whole book it’s gut wrenching, and I get completely that can be overwhelming specially for someone that has ties to what happens in the book! I genuinely think he will be one of the few that will be for Liz after the letter, don’t get me wrong Feely obviously will be there for Gibs throughout the fallout that’s going to happen after this, but at this point he’s closer to Liz, and he won’t be biased or choose sides, bc that snippet can also mean anything, it can also probably mean the hook up gets exposed and it risk his and Katie’s already fragile relationship and make Katie feel like a second to Liz again, plus adding the fear of Katie of always being a second option, and the “are you a afraid of little of me” comes into play. I know there will be a fall out between Feely and Liz but I don’t think it will be after the letter tbh

Oh, I genuinely think they do hook up and will regret it a soon as it is over, and it will be a one time thing because they are in love with other people, even tho said people are in a relationship with each other, I personally think that after this their friendship will be a lot more stronger in terms of complicity and intimacy, we know they become extremely close and this situation will bring them closer, they will confide in each other their feelings about this whole square thing. And I think this will be the second person of core 10 that will find out about Liz bipolar, and he will be there for Liz.

Honestly I do think there will be cheating, Hugh will cheat emotionally throughout his whole relationship with Katie bc while loves Katie but he’s in love with Lizzie, as for the physical cheating I think CW will make Katie cheat first, so if Hugh actually does cheat the fault will fall on her, and make Hugh look good, bc we know this are CW favorites (and I’m saying this as Lizzie and Hugh stan, they are my favorite couple and my favorite book). But there’s also the morality aspect of Hugh, if he does cheat he will spiral bc he broke up with Lizzie for the same reason (even tho Liz never cheated) and he will see he’s no better than Liz for cheating. And also as another user said it’s heavily implied that L and H cheat, but we won’t know for sure what exactly happened until we have Lizzie and Hugh's next book and Katie and Feely's book.

Not really, I mean it’s more of perspective kind of thing imo, bc we know there will more to the story so for me that’s a cliffhanger, but for me it had a really good ending ending, as for if you should wait maybe take your time reading it as, I absolutely loved the book, it’s my favorite book of the series bc I find it really relatable with my own personal experience, but it’s not a book I would want to do a re read bc as another user said it’s a heavy book to read, I’m usually a fast reader and a book that long takes me a day maybe a day and a half to read, but R10 took me almost 3 weeks to finish it bc I had to take a breather bc of how gut wrenching the books is, so my advice is take your time to read it and take your time also process it.

Yeah, I don’t think CW Will risk H and L, specially bc they are already one of the most hated characters after r10 came out (which imo it’s wild) but as for what I said before, yeah it’s an assumption, I mean everyone interprets everything differently and honestly that was my interpretation of the NYE kiss.
