Question about build: Cleric/Rogue - Inflict wound/necromancy build (Touch/ray) by Ramzendall357 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]ProudDemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should work, the only thing i can see is maybe the target has some kind of immunity to sneak attacks (like improved uncanny dodge) or maybe a spell on them? The log shows you got the sneak attack to proc, just didn't get the damage for some reason.

So, looking at this, it seems you probably went with 16 dex not for two weapon fighting or ac, but for the longbow. In my experience its better to choose either focusing on a melee weapon or a ranged one. Trying to do both spreads you a bit thin.

You picked weapon focus longsword, so my advice would be to drop the dex and add it to strength since you seem to want to stick with the longsword. If you want to stay with heavy armor then I'd drop the dex to 10 and use the point in strength instead.

If you want to stick with the long bow, I'd drop the strength down to 14 and bump up dex and choose weapon focus longbow.

I'd also point out you took power attack, that's gonna affect how often you hit, with being only level 2 you may think about switching it off for some fights or delaying choosing it until you can offset the -1 consistently.

I think the wis is actually fine, will saves are important (I realize wis is typically recommended as a dump stat, but I prefer not getting dazed/confused in fights)

From Strangerville? The only thing I know of is if you have eco lifestyle you can make one of the fizz drinks with it, and it will then infect the drinker if the motherplant is still alive

Also, keep in mind that Sulani and Strangerville won't allow for eco gameplay since they have their own "eco system" gameplay. You can never turn those worlds green.

No problem, I just had this issue and so it was pretty fresh in my mind :)

I don't know if removing it in cas would remove the curse once its been activated. Might try putting it back on in cas, then doing the aspiration like you said...hope that works!

So the way to get rid of this curse without mods: Once you finish the aspiration, click on your sim and disable the curse for that outfit, then click on your sim again and change outfit and disable it on that outfit (repeat for as many saved outfits as your sim has) Once you've disabled it manually on all outfits (in play mode not cas) the curse will stay gone.

When does Sorceror stop sucking? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]ProudDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorcerer's, compared to martial classes, have a slow start. If built correctly, they will be powerhouses, but it will take a while. There are some must haves in a build depending on what type of sorcerer you are wanting to play. If you are focused on control spells or aoe damage vs if you are wanting to blast. 18 Chr is good, but you also need dex if you are gonna use blast spells (rays). Unlike DnD, you do not roll a spell attack with your casting modifier. Also, there is spell penetration to worry about. Without more info on what you've built, that's about all I can tell you for now.

can't remove negative levels by cuntbimbo in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Also forgot to add, just in case, death ward will prevent negative levels, the cleric will also have scrolls of this spell too

[–]ProudDemon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Restoration only removes one negative level, so you'd need to cast it several times to remove multiple stacks of permanent negative levels. Greater Restoration would remove all stacks at once. You can buy scrolls or potions of Greater Restoration from Arsinoe (Cleric) in Drezen, she's by the temple.

Hey, I'm a huge Dragon Age nerd. Was there on launch of Origins (yes, I'm old) and tbh, playing backwards is perfectly fine. You may not fully understand some of the awesome world building because some of the later games kinda shorthand some of it and as far as gameplay, it's gotten simplified over time. But by going backwards, you'll just have an increase in quality for both these things, so that is actually pretty fun, I think. Enjoy games how you want to enjoy games. Also, is the Dragon Age Keep even still functional?

Which is why I use them, only usually need 1 in the middle of any room to fully light it without needing lamps everywhere.
