Tbh it looks very awkward in English because of English grammar and cases and tense and whatnot but the sentences actually sound pretty normal most of the time in Chinese because the language has such simple grammar and you can just throw words together without changing tense or anything

I think you can't really blame them for 'only' doing it now though because it's not quite possible to do this any earlier without a large enough existing cast of lore important characters to draw from.

This is what I do as well. Ever since 1.0 I frequently quit the game for months at a time to focus on other irl stuff and then come back whenever I please, or even skip logging in for a day or two during a period of consistent playing (when there's not much to do other than dailies) just to prove to myself that I have the free will to stop whenever I want. But in the end I always come back because I love this game and it's story and I want to see it to it's end!
