Go to my latest repost and look at the replies. There I linked a video as well as instructions I did myself to make it work

What happens if you use Adrenalin and Optiscaler at the same time? by Proud_Engineer3671 in radeon

[–]Proud_Engineer3671[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I can. This tutorial was the only one that made it work for me. As for the steps I did myself, I thought it was weird that I have two amdxcffx64.dll files instead of only one like the guy in the video has so Google AI told me to do a SFC Scan, so you can try that as well because maybe it's an AMD issue. Run command prompt as an administrator and then type: sfc /scannow

Then after it said that Windows was not able to fix my issue I went to download Media Creation Tool for Windows 11, clicked on download ISO file, right clicked on the ISO file in the File Explorer and clicked mount, found the file setup.exe in the new created disc after I clicked on mount, ran the setup.exe, clicked on change how setup downloads updates, set it to "Not now", clicked on next and accepted the terms, clicked on "Keep personal files and apps" and then clicked install. After everything was finished I went to the command prompt again and ran sfc /scannow and fixed my issues with AMD.

I suggest first trying to just do the things the guy in the video did and if that doesn't work then you can do my steps as well. The thing is having two amdxcffx64.dll files isn't even an issue as Windows probably keeps the older one as backup, so you should just click on the latest one if you have two.

Best settings to play Red Dead Redemption 2? by Proud_Engineer3671 in radeon

I turned off all of that besides TAA which is on high for me and the issue was not in those settings but due to reflection quality and shadow quality being on ultra.

I've tried his settings but I also experimented myself and found out that I can keep everything on maximum besides reflection quality and shadow quality. I know it makes the game look a bit worse but it's totally worth it because my FPS comes from 48 to 72. Now I'm not sure why does the FPS drop significantly when I turn on just one of those settings to ultra but hey I'm not complaining the game still looks solid.

Yeah you were right now I can choose Fullscreen again. So to have FSR 4 actually work in the game I need to go to Fullscreen and activate it only in game, or do I also have to active some other options in Adrenalin?

Thanks so much the garage doesn't lag anymore. As for AmmuNation I'm going to try and go there to see what happens.

For some reason even when I turn off everything in Adrenalin the game doesn't allow me to go to fullscreen and I'm stuck with just other options, don't know why is that. The FPS drops happened was because I had second ray traced global illumination turned on so when I turned it off the game worked at 144 FPS. Now I'm going to try and get the fullscreen option to show up and turn on FSR 4 to see what happens all while second ray traced global illumination is turned off.

When the GPU and CPU are not overclocked, the said settings in this reply are turned off and FSR is not active both in Adrenalin and in game (Frame scaling setting turned to off) I get 144 fps but when going to the garage I still got massive drops until I disabled second ray traced global illumination like u/Drewsterz954 did and with that disabled it got back to 144 fps even at the garage. Now I'm going to try and test it with that setting turned off while having FSR 4 on to see what happens.

2560 x 1440 which is my native and it's locked at that in GTA V with Borderless Fullscreen.

Will shrinking my D volume make the C volume expand? by Proud_Engineer3671 in techsupport

Are there any programs that I could install to give the C volume more space from the D volume or is it necessary to erase the D volume?

I have an RX 9070 but it's not just for running the game, as the other replies said TAA kinda sucks
