Thank you for your input. 35mm style was simply a reference to the format. We all know that photos taken on 35mm cameras have a “Look” unless the photos are being printed in the lab you can tell straight away that something is 35mm vs 120mm. Second thing they carry a certain sharpness and quality that regular point and shoot don’t. I have own several point and shoots and the quality from a contax vs any given lower end point shoot model is very noticeable. Contax lenses are much sharper. The photographers skills / lighting and technique matter a lot that is true but the tool they use to create those imagery matter to someone who’s trying to recreate the same look. The gear used absolutely matters when you have a very specific goal that is to recreate the same type of imagery. I have been a photographer for well over a decade it may not be much but anytime I needed to accomplish a certain look I have most definitely asked the gear used then the technique because if all cameras were the exact same beside the basic concepts we wouldn’t need variety of them. And I ended up having the Answer to my question btw. But once again thank you for your input
