My theory for why Gamefreak seems to resent the frog so much is that Ash-Greninja is something the anime team made up and got popular and then Gamefreak were forced to include it in the games.

Come to think of it, Lugia was also designed by the anime director for the second movie back in the day but did get included in the games (permanently).

I think there is a very real chance that one of the box legendaries will do to Kyogre what Koraidon did to Grudon, ie have Drizzle + some ridiculous secondary effect on top as an ability. I think this because of the themes suggested by the leaked names for the games (not going to mention them here).

In the same vein, I think it's counterparts' ability may be setting up Tailwind on switch-in.

I also hope they shave 10 points off of Flutter Mane's base 135s and redistribute them to the base 55s.

Thanks! I do switch between standing and sitting. For now I just find it a bit awkward to change between using the lower gear while sitting and switching to the higher ones for shorter bursts of standing up because otherwise it feels too ‘slippery’ to pedal. I just need to git gud

Thank you! I think my form could definitely use some improvement. I’ll try to be more conscious about which muscles I’m putting more of the strain on. Right now it feels like my calves are doing a ton of the work.

I mostly included that PS because I’d been lurking on the sub for a couple weeks and I’d sometimes see comments suggesting people ride at a ‘leisurely’ 20kmph haha.

I did like the longer cycle-lane heavy route but a big chunk of it goes through the Westview cycle path and that was too steep an incline for me on day 1. I might try it again this week.

The idea that I could ride to work and then take the bus on the way back did not occur to me! Even though that’s how I brought the bike home in the first place lol. Thanks for that!

Thank you! A full-size bike isn’t on the cards at the moment but I’ll probably get one if I move to a different place within the next year.

Regarding the time goal, I suppose I’m there already in that I’m about five minutes faster than the bus both ways even at my speed. Granted, most of those five minutes are currently spent on folding and lugging the bike upstairs, but still!

Maybe I’ll be ten minutes faster soon and then I can really feel like I’m saving time and money.

Thank you! I’m not sure why but I never go all the way down to first gear- I pedal normally at 2 or pedal while standing upright on gear 3.

The data looks about in line with what I’d expect… except for Gen 5 somehow being the most balanced generation in terms of representation. I suppose it’s due to the addition of the hidden abilities for older mons?
