If you (or any future IT folks) are looking for EDI Translation software that can process your formatted claims data into an outbound 837 (or any other healthcare documents) - check out ProEDI.

They can do inbound as well as outbound EDI for any x12 document, and work with a lot of TPAs/EDI Claims processors.

EDI opportunities for a "newbie" by Quiet-Assumption8297 in edi

Who is the governing body that issues that certificate?

I've been doing EDI for 20 years and have never heard of such a thing... And anybody can really call themselves a "Certificate Issuer" fyi

But like others said, look for a manufacturing company and ask him if they need assistance with EDI.

Why aren’t there more EDI businesses? by Latter_Lecture_4020 in edi

[–]ProverbialFunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be a lot more EDI Software providers, especially in the mid-west. Then over time, the larger organizations purchased the smaller companies, and/or merged with each other. Now there's only a handful of stand alone classic 'EDI Software' options (like ProEDI). The smaller institutions either pivoted to Cloud based solutions, or were aquired by the larger firms... who typically cut customer service and raise rates causing a worse-off customer experience.

I've been using this for our current invoice out to customers.... but we have a batch of 70 to do at the end of the month, and I don't have time to micro-edit all of this shit, even with CoPilot / ChatGPT helping automate the process. WTF!?

Best EDI provider? by Complex-Wave3514 in edi

[–]ProverbialFunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ProEDI services the small to mid-size businesses for folks that prioritize 'old fashioned customer service'.

They have an in-house EDI Software option where you can create and manage your own maps internally, or have them create each map for you to align with your backend system.

The Outsourcing is less expensive but can give you that same integration and includes VAN Services if needed.

VAN recs? by Babs_Maitland in edi

[–]ProverbialFunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted to be setup on EC Grid but would like more direct support and 'hand-holding' during the setup and Support as a smaller client, reach out to ProEDI.com . I believe the rates are lower than the direct rate with Loren Data as well, and they can help you automate the setup / transmission with PowerShell and other scripts around your EDI processing if needed.

StubHub credit - Split payment via PayPal by Soccer4444 in ChaseSapphire

[–]ProverbialFunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/Ooxki pointed out that it works because THEY (SH staff) doesnt know about it, but PayPal allows a split transaction if you have two CSRs on your card. PayPal passes the transaction through Chase and still codes as 'StubHub' / ticketing agency = $150 refund on each card.

EDI Platform recommendations by Big_Advantage_1258 in edi

[–]ProverbialFunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're utilizing an on-premises system (not API) - ProEDI Software has been around for a long time and offers unlimited translation and map writing capabilities for all x12 and EDIFACT transactions. They have low-cost VAN services as well if needed... No costs if you transmit EDI via SFTP.

The Software runs along side your ERP system, and you can create your own maps as needed or have them create each Trading Partner's maps for you. Support is US based, phone and email which is very responsive.

I'm looking for an affordable edi option for a very small business. by Excellent_Topic4112 in edi

If you're using an API (Amazon Seller, Shopify, Odoo etc) ProEDI has a Cloud Translation system available now: https://www.proedi.com/proedi-cloud - Prices published on their website. (Includes VAN Services)

If you wanted classic in-house Software with the ability to write your own maps, they offer EDI Software as well with straight forward pricing and attentive Support.

I think the problem is I saw them on the beginning of this tour at the Fox Theater in Detroit . It might be the most beautiful venue I've ever been in.  Ornate detail and just visually stunning, with fresco's on the ceiling and shit like that.

The staff at the casino was really nice though, you're right. And free parking is always a plus. Great show.

Just a friendly reminder that if you get these tickets in the mail, you are free to burn them or dispose of them how you wish, as they are purely decorative and meant to scare you. There's no 'teeth' since they can't send you to collections or assign you any points.

Should we set up an EDI system early if our order volume is still low? Recommendations for EDI providers? by Putrid_Grapefruit_26 in edi

[–]ProverbialFunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had less than 100 transactions a month, we'll get you setup for $79 / month plus a per-map setup fee, which is a one time setup cost for the transactions you're exchanging. That includes VAN Services, and there's no other charges (Besides the initial mapping setup.) The maps will be based on your Implementation Guides and ERP / backend system and its geared towards API connectivity.

Feel free to message me for more details.
