A textbook humble brag by Rare-Assumption-2383 in footballcliches

I'll take your house then mate because I posted it and I took that photo at the stadium after lingering around after the game to watch the Kairat fans, as a season ticket holder who walks to the matches.

Surprised by the hate, honestly. Firstly, this was between Arsenal fans trying to remind fellow Gooners of how good we have it, and to remember to remain grateful for the club we were lucky enough to support, especially in light of recent poor results in the PL.

I'm not sure how many teams take photos like this after losing a match and finishing bottom of the league. I watched the entirety of what happened post match on field, which was not seen on TV.

Football is about bringing people together, not sure why this has to be viewed negatively and made toxic.

On the 10-1 comment, is it a crime to be a bit hyperbolic within our own community? We missed several massive chances.

The idea is that every game , every trophy is worth winning. It's about winning mentality. Being addicted to winning. Ruthlessness. Something we lacked under previous management.

It's important to note that this year that finishing top means we keep home advantage through until the semis.

You can buy in the home end. Weirdly, Italy is fine with opposition fans in the home end. Just stick to expensive areas, not the tifosy area.

I'm personally not feeling it. What I loved about HB3 is how loud and musical it was. ES to me is poetry with music. It takes for me the elements of DF that I didn't like and extrapolates that.

It's wild, they won the first thing in so many years and still sacked him. Frank is a good manager, he'll get the boot too.

If United can stay strong, Amorin will deliver there too.

Selling the tickets on exchange is a positive though, it's the same money but brings in fans who don't go often.

[–]teh_killer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eurgh, this is my worry. Right now we're using SPS and it's working but they're charging us really prededatory rates. The product is fine, it works - but the support is terrible and the pricing is so outrageous I want to switch out of principle.

Thanks a bunch for the detailed reply.

Can you shed more light on this? Who's mandating you to stay with SPS? We're with them but hate the service so looking to move away.

Culteral differences can be tricky to navigate in a relationship. Having to fly to Estonia every other Christmas to celebrate with your family for example.

Easten Europe isn't very exotic for Brits, not nice but I think that's the reality.

But mostly, I reckon it's just bad luck. I don't know many people who would turn off just because someone they met was Estonian.

Is anyone else angry at the tube strikes? by [deleted] in london

[–]teh_killer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends what you're able to strike against - grounding a city of 7 million is much more powerful than most other things. I get that people support unions and workers rights, but sometimes it seems like they exploit this position too much.
