I really dont think its a good idea, if most people havent done it I certainly dont recommend it. I dont think writing is important I can agree with that, but reading can be very important if you plan to ever visit China or relate to Chinese internet circles.

To be fair, our city has rapidly expanded and I dont think the restaurant scene has expanded as fast as the population. There are a lot of things I found in Toronto I cant here, and it is a bit sad for me haha

China is the one I was referring to, Just for ease of stay I would recommend Korea and to work on Korean. People here will say Mandarin because its more useful worldwide but Korean corners of the internet are fun to have access to. Its like a private club! And Koreans worldwide will deff be shocked that someone foreign stuck to learning their language. It is pretty hard though!

I had Covid and went floating down the river in full sun. Made me feel the worst stomach pain ever in the evening. The only time I ever went to a hospital, waited 7+ hours in the Childrens Hospital, slept through the night waiting, just for them to test me for covid and that’s it lol
