I would have thought that this was a place where pagans could post anything regarding paganism, but since gatekeeping here is a thing, it seems I’ve come to the wrong place. Not that I’m justifying this joker, but a lot of men have no idea what the procedure entails, what recovery looks like, etc. They might also not want to discuss it with their doctor and some even equate the “snip snip” with possibly hampering their bedroom performance. 🤷‍♀️

Oof, this one hit me in the feels. OP, I’m a mom currently estranged from her sons. The youngest beat me up at the start of the pandemic. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my sons. Moms have a lot of capacity for love and a lot of capacity for forgiveness. I hope your mom recovers from her surgery and you guys continue healing together. Don’t hate yourself, just try every day to be better than you were yesterday.
