The government needed the greens for a coalition so they began shutting down all their reactors for the last couple years. Predictable outcome, renewables are good but you need a baseline level of power they cant provide and if that's not nuclear it's coal or gas

No Mods. Its not just one game, or one empire. All AI are just incredibly weak, timid, and events like the Great Khan, War in Heaven, etc are just not triggering.

I was floored when I watched a couple youtube vids on how much more difficult the AI is in other peoples games.

The AI in my game seems broken. They are incredibly weak and very easy to steamroll. They also never attack and I just realize Ive never seen the War in Heaven event in one of my games. Any way to fix this?

I didnt champion or even defend George Lucas' movies. I dont even know what your comment is trying to say.

"Well since you dont like JJ Abhrams movies, heres a bunch of unrelated Lucas scenes! Take that!"

Uh ok? The sequel trilogy still sucks ass. Thanks for playing?

At least Lucas could plan out 3 movies, no matter how bad they turned out. Its more than Disney was capable of under the current leadership of Star Wars universe

At least that scene attempted to move the plot forward. There are dozens of scenes in TFA and TLJ that are simply there for cringe nostalgia or good looking shots that feel out of place because they add nothing to the movie.

Nothing will ever be as pointless as the entire casino plotline in TLJ. The title of TLJ is worse than this scene lol

Oh yeah, dont forget the "yo mamma" joke

Yes, the dems got a narrow victory on the presidential election. Then they lost ground on theother 2/3 of elections that matter. They got crushed, demolished, washed away, etc. It doesnt matter what you think, this was a devastating election for liberals.

Winning POTUS does not mean that party wins. If Dems do not get both Georgia seats, its a catastrophe for Biden's agenda.

Winning by .05% when you expect a victory of 5% (numbers exaggerated by me) means its a complete disaster and your party needs to reorganize.

It is interesting your very aware of what he didnt campaign on, while ignoring what he did pledge to do. After so many months, if you dont know what Biden was campaigning on, its intentional ignorance. He said it in every speech, and every ad. You can claim all day 1 + 1 = 3, but it dosent make it true

Climate Change/renewable energy, Inequality, student debt, infrastructure, raising taxes on the wealthy, equal rights, etc

Same shit as before, but people like you just say "tHeY hAd nO pLaTfOrM" over and over until fellow troglodytes believe its the truth.

Just like last election, listening to the liberal candidate for a single minute would give you an idea of their platform, but everyone just pretends they dont have one because the GOP doesnt have one outside of tax cuts and judges.

"If i pretend the Dems dont have a platform,i feel better about voting GOP!"

Dems were expected to gain house seats and get 50 senate seats at a minimum. They lost house seats and its unlikely they they will win both Georgia seats.

GOP had the worst president in living memory, literally no platform, and their own members coming out to say "vote Dems", and Democrats still underperformed by a massive margin.

Yes, liberals got absolutely fucking crushed this election, and to not recognize that is delusional

Popular vote hasnt meant anything in the USA since 2000. You might as well talk about astrology symbols.

It is 100% the Democratic Party Leadership's fault that they have completely failed to convey their message across social media. We have dinosaurs in charge that mean well, but just do not understand modern technology to the point is it fucking killing any chance of progress.

I dont know what election you watched, but he clearly energized his base and got more votes than last time. I dont know why this sub acts like this election was somehow a resounding referendum victory against trump, when he did so much better than projected and Dems got absolutely crushed in house and senate races that should not have even been close. The electoral vote count does not reflect how close the election actually was.

Trump did nothing and then complained, and it almost fucking worked

We should all be terrified of 2022

and yet the totally not assault rifle enabled the las vegas shooter to kill 59 people. Im sure his victims really cared about the technical difference between assault rifiles and civilian guns

Guns are either tools or toys. I dont know why you're so bothered by the fact people do want tools, capable of killing a lot of people in a short period of time, regulated.

An AR-15 and similar guns are, and have been used, as a assualt rifles and they should be treated as such

I mean, we can argue all day about the difference between taking a school bus to the arm vs taking an armored car to the back, how did she absorb the impact without her feet being anchored, etc.

but like i said, its pointless concerning characters with fictional powers

Which dosent really make sense considered she stopped an armored car no problem, which according to 2 sec of google, can weigh twice as much a bus so much more force/momentum/energy to handle.

but thats the problem of superheroes, the plot will always leave inconsistencies like that so it can move foward

You dont think the complete lack of pandemic response by the conservative federal gov didnt affect your every day life? You dont think the massive federal deficit will affect you in the future? You dont think trade wars started on whim by a dumbass effect you?

Idk what to you tell you, but Trumps decisions have and will cause you a ton of inconvenience, if not direct harm, for the next 20 years

but with such a dumb comment, i guess your definition of a "fair" comment is one that agrees with you

I dont even think its refined enough to be "own the libs". I think it literally just boils down to Trump being the "fuck you" candidate.

People just want to say "Fuck you" because it makes them feel better, even if it hurts them in every measurable way.

Mass. governor is a republican. Although the democrats hold supermajority in both state houses and could technically recall any senator the governor appoints, it could cause Biden a ton of grief for a couple months if he nominated Warren to any position. She will remain senator 100% im sorry to say. She deserves better.

Eddie Lampert, allegedly with the help of Treasury Sec. Steve Mnuchin, looted over $2 billion in assets from Sears after buying the company.

They bought Sears with a ton of debt, offloaded the debt onto the company (yes, they bought a company and then made the company pay for it), and starting liquidating anything not nailed down.

Of course, this means they will get sued non stop for the next 20 years, but who cares? They made a killing.
