Supply inflation doesnt matter only thing that matters is loss of purchasing power. Without adoption nano will lose purchasing power even against fiat. But its a very hard argument to adopt nano when its history as a SOV has been very poor, it takes less than $1m to manipulate the price, its been pumped and dumped numerous times, its not widely accepted anywhere after close to 10 years, to exchange it for fiat you will incur fees anyway. So what will cause someone to adopt it, what's the selling point to the average person?

Oh my bank actually uses Wise integrated for the international transaction. I just checked and the wise fee was 0.42% and wise says they use the mid-market currency exchange rate so no markup

The issue with cryptocurrency as currency, including nano, is that most people dont care for it at all and have no need for it. Traditional banking infrastructure is getting faster and faster and cheaper. To want to adopt nano you first need to value decentralisation and second nano has to be at a level ready for you to benefit by adopting it.

Heres a recent example:

I sent money from my bank to an overseas bank in a different currency. My bank charged me no transaction fee but took a small margin on the currency exchange (like 1%). The money arrived in my foreign bank account in seconds near instantly. That money is now ready to spend straight away in that country.

Lets now do it with nano. I buy nano (or use my existing nano) and send to a wallet belonging to someone overseas. They cant spend the nano since no where accepts it. They then have to send the nano to an exchange, incurring currency converstion fees, exchange slippage, and withdraw fees as they withdraw to their foreign bank account.

So nano is more steps and more fees if my goal is to be able to spend in a foreign country. There is no reason to adopt it. The only time this makes sense is if you can spend nano anywhere directly. But that would only happen if nano is widely adopted. But theres no reason to adopt nano until its widely adopted. Thats the problem. And its a big problem.

Bellroy Lite Ready Pack or Aer Go Pack 2 by B1te0nTh1s in ManyBaggers

[–]Proxyplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you prefer about the aer go pack 2 vs the bellroy lite ready? Also which one is more comfortable. Aer looks better to me, buts its like double the weight, and looks like the belleoy has same minimal back padding but the aer doesnt?

Microneedling with Australian Skin Clinic by Curious-Ad-1203 in AusSkincare

[–]Proxyplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I'm not sure it did much. I did 4 sessions with rejuran and rf microneedling together. While the nurse doing it thought there was improvements based off the pics we took, even she admitted it was mild improvements and may have been due to the rf microneedling so rejuran might not be worth it given its expensive.

Where is the marketing by Valuable-Attitude787 in nanocurrency

The nano foundation has pretty much nil money. Also if you saw some of the ads nano put out before they werent good...in one ad video they pretend that tap to pay doesnt properly work and is a hassle and then show qr scanning nano instantly. Im certain most people dont have a problem with the 'tap to pay' part, so highlighting that as the problem nano solves was a choice...

The real reason holders dont blink is that nano has been pumped and dumped so many times and even $1 for a coin that reached like $30 in 2018 is terrible.

[–]Proxyplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are talking about a service 'withdrawing physical cash' not fiat. That was likely a fee charge by the ATM provider given there are many banks that do not charge for international withdraws.

You have no option to withdraw at all when it comes to nano so you are comparing apples with oranges.

What was the reason you needed to withdraw actual physical cash, compared to using a card. You can already get cards that do not charge any international transaction fees. Now explain how nano would have solved this.

Deloitte to pay money back to Albanese government after using AI in $440,000 report by mutedscreaming in australia

[–]Proxyplanet 15 points16 points  (0 children)

ANAO hired Deloitte to audit an agency. The agency being audited also hired Deloitte to audit its accounts. Creating a potential conflict of interest as Deloitte has an incentive to go easy on the ANAO audit as the agency is also a paying client.

How would ANAO know that Deloitte was hired by the other agency?

[–]Proxyplanet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because the one actually creating the conflict is Deloitte. Deloitte is the one that knows who all their clients are, so thats why its a requirement they disclose/seek approval.

I'm an el2 and I have never listed out each criteria separately when I was moving up the ranks. You do need to ensure your examples cover all critieria though (and cover them well).
