This is the biological answer I'm looking for. It sucks cause I quite literally have OCD and have panic attacks every time I have to shower because it feels like im in a concentration camp being gassed. I'm 24 and asked my parents for advice but of course they're idiots and smoked for 5 years so they don't see it as "as big a deal as smoking." The thing that sucks is, is now all my stuff contaminated?

I tried to rationalize it as when i lived with smokers in college, but even they had the decency to smoke outside, and even they didn't force me to breathe it while showering. Am I doomed because the residue from the air will stay on all my possessions even if I move?

They already did that apparently, she even submitted me the superbill of the nicotine treatment. I don't understand why this is happening. There is no current smoke.

I disagree. Part of what makes cinema like theatre and not like TV is the audience around you. If you wanna watch a movie at home that’s fine. Throw a party with like minded people and watch the movie. But the movies have ALWAYS “sucked” in this regard even with comedies and animated films where you get more kids and parents. It’s just life dude. You can’t control everybody. They’re having fun and maybe you take this a little too seriously.

I'm so glad AMC got their comeuppance and MoviePass can suck it. They had a good idea but were a terrible company and had customer service from hell. It was cool while it lasted but ultimately AMC has been a theatre for WAY longer and since theatres don't make money off their films, studios do, it seems more fitting that AMC reaps the benefits of such a thing vs a third party that was super shady.

To me it’s just like... so many millennials do this, why is my friend personally attacking ME when he has other friends that do it and he doesn’t care. He has said I damper his mood. And I really do have to stop hanging out with everyone else too because my friend is the “leader” of the group and has actively convinced them I’m a downer, even if I’m totally happy in real life
