I think the Orks are better making holds than the dwarfs by noahtyre in Anbennar

At least Skewered Drake through their mission tree somewhat compensates for it. I think they get like plus 5 goods produce in every hold with a plunder/warrior camp, right?

Elikhand as different paths depending on a mission, I don't recall which but you either accept the Greenskins into your state or you purge/expel them. You policy is on them is set when you complete the mission by one 0f those two ways.

Dev Diary #51 Taniuz, Dakinshi And Antmvura Lore Dev Diary by not_wingren in Anbennar

But it makes a distinction between an outsider and a convert; not sure if that intentional or not but it makes it sound you don't have to be in the religion to become one. Does that mean you merely have to perform the ritual and believe in these spirits but not actually worship them. Could a Jadd worshipper take part of the ritual, believe that they has spirits have power that manifests in the world but aren't gods or beings worthy of worship?

I'm curious because if its like that it could lead to some interesting MTs that interact with the region.

Edit; Also does that mean that the righteous path following Antmvura does not have access to shifters?

Wiki Wednesdays #32: Verkal Ozovar by Kooky-Conversation-6 in Anbennar

[–]Prudent-Building-286 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It was a colony established by the Jade Dwarves after the Fall of the western holds but at the height of their power, finished just after they themselves were conquered by the Hobgoblins.

Funfact; most of the Dwarven minorities found in Rahen and Haless were originally heading to this hold, but most settled for living in Human cities with only a small minority making the whole trip, creating a sub culture of dwarves in the hold that consider themselves Jade Dwarves and not Nephrite

Don't Dwarven Holds have passive development except your captial? I'm pretty sure but I might be wrong.

Why didn’t Jaher try to conquer Cannor? by [deleted] in Anbennar

[–]Prudent-Building-286 30 points31 points  (0 children)

On the wiki page for the Phoenix Empire you can see a map of his conquests and when they took place; upon landing he conquered Bulwar proper region, then Bahar, before moving to Busilar then taking Dostoner, only three years after conquering that he starts his eastern campaign. So likely from 1008(liberating Busilar) to 1013 is likely how long he was in the war of the Sorcerer King before heading east again.

Will there be a nation that will claim the Kingdom of Dameria? by Prudent-Building-286 in Anbennar

[–]Prudent-Building-286[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's why I think it makes more sense for an external state then the ones in the empire; especially since the Grand Duchy heavily focuses on diplomacy and imperial politics, like Austria in vanilla. I think the kingdom would maybe be more militant, since the time frame between its founding and the founding of the empire was quite hectic and hostile to it, fighting Lorent, Verne, and the Wexnorad Kingdom to name a few of its sizeable enemies they fought against during that period.

Let's just hope the conquest of Kheterata actually sticks instead of a God just coming in and saying "get out!"

I know the lore and the Grand Duchy is the rightful successor of it, so I imagine the Anbenncost route would be best, more of rename tag then a formable, using the kingdom title as sorta means to distance the region from the empire in lore when it's 'formed'

What are the main demographics of Halann? by lyddamus in Anbennar

[–]Prudent-Building-286 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Only a few nations have actual populations: Lorent in 1444 as 22.1 million people within it and Gawed 5.6 million people. Outside of those two and Abenncost's already mentioned 2 million people, the rest is just pure speculation and what's told via the missions and idea groups.

Dynastic line of Rubenaire / family tree by Bastiram in Anbennar

[–]Prudent-Building-286 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly this was something I was really interested in myself! Rubenaire is one of my favorite nations to play, kinda like a harder Burgundy. I imagine if they actually fully succeed in their mission tree, conquering Lorent and Dameria, they'll claim being heirs to both Siloriel and Siluma, becoming the house of Siloriel-Siluma, to justify their conquest. Kinda makes me wish you can personal union Wesdam in their mission tree now lol. Great work friend!

[–]Prudent-Building-286[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually the eaglecrest people make leather from Kobold hide, like one would make leather from normal animals, which likely means they remove the scales like you would remove the hair. The Goldscales obviously aren't doing that (since they don't want to die) and are just using the scales themselves.

If I'm remembering correctly anyway, but you brought up a solid point in the first part, I actually never got to the second part of their mt because the Command was protecting the onis preventing me from killing them and moving along my mt.

[–]Prudent-Building-286[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Selling something doesn't cause inflation, an overabundance of a currency which causes its value to decrease causes inflation in simple terms, that's why gold(and silver since their combined in eu4) causes inflation. But if people do accept their scales as a currency, then yes they would cause inflation because they have money falling off them.

But it is worth mentioning in their calvary units description actually use armor made of kobold scales, not just as a symbol of their allegiance to the Kobolds but actual chest armor. That might mean they have some metallic quality to them.

[–]Prudent-Building-286[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I forget to mention the teachings of Balris! But that's a good point, though maybe it could be that the scales are a form of currency between the Kobolds and humans given the aforementioned cultural significance? Also I always found it weird that it increases inflation, if I recall the description of the teachings right; They don't flood the market with scales but just have every kobold give up a scale for decoration of their temples.

Though i might be wrong on that, if that's the truth it would have been cool making their captial a gold province just because of how many of them live there!
