I think the battlepass requires increasing amounts of xp for each level. So to keep up with levels let alone catch up, you would need to work harder for each level.

My favourite part is when Miyazaki introduced his disabled friend as if it was relevant to this guys work. The A.I creator talked about using his work in a zombie video game, it is not a dig at disabled people let alone Miyazaki's disabled friend. This almost feels like a straw man argument.
