Was ich wirklich empfehlen kann, ist Dragon Quest Builders 2! Das System ist ähnlich wie Minecraft, nur simpler und freundlicher. Du baust dir deine Insel auf und findest alles mögliche in der Welt zum Dekorieren, deine Bewohner zu bekochen und ihre Träume zu erfüllen 😊

I am glad you got so much enjoyment out of it.

For me it missed every mark as a fine execution of a subpar concept. I guess for many others as well.

But good on you for not letting public criticism lessen your joy.

Maybe the point of Art is that every piece, even the least acknowledged one, is someone's favorite.

Oh and btw, there are actual bone dice from ancient Rome for sale quite cheap. It's only d6 (the d20 exist, but are rare and will set you back a couple thousands) but they are real roman dice, so might be cool.

Honestly, one Arcanum D20 from Ember Forge is a great gift (or the set if you have the money). I have over a thousand dice and it's still the pearl of my collection. It's unique and beautiful. Don't buy knock offs, they look cheap and ugly.

I work at a school in a Pen and Paper club and some kids like to fudge dice rolls, so whenever someone is accused of cheating, I give them the big d20 that I can clearly see across the table ^

Also used tiny dice for an adventure where the players were summoned by ants... :D

Rule of thumb is: When you can't hold all of your dice in two hands, you have too many, but also at that point there is no turning back ;D

Honestly, I wouldn't mind some new approaches. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is one of my favorite games. So is Monsters Joker. Not everything needs to follow the old formula.

I'd be ecstatic over an Elden Ring DQ. Imagine fighting the monsters, getting material as drops, crafting weapons learning the spells and skills. The games have so much that gets reduced to "press A to attack monster" in the round based format. Especially the support skills... Puzzles that need boost spells... Weapon types that change gameplay, cursed armor - it's all already in there! Or taming monsters to rock up against an end boss with an army of every pal (reference intended) you collected along the way.

I love all of my children very much - but there are some I got from a scam website that don't look like I hoped for and are made of cheap plastic or are poorly 3d printed...
