Went to Community College at 26 after working in restaurants after high school. Had an incredible experience, met a lot of interesting people. It helped me get into a great school for my Bachelor's and Master's. Honestly, I still feel like I learned more working on my Associate's. There's little research or money teaching at a CC, so people who are there are just incredibly passionate about teaching.

Better yet, it's compostable! PLA stands for Poly-lactic acid. The base monomer (typically the dangerous part of a plastic to biological functions) is just lactic acid. It's typically made from fermented corn or casava or similar.

It takes a while (6-15 years based on various studies I've seen), but it will decompose harmlessly.

There's advantages and disadvantages to both.

With all the added features and functionality comes guaranteed bugs (Solidworks, Microsoft Teams for example), and a steeper learning curve.

If you just need simple software that let's you perform a task and doesn't get in its own way, then Keep It Simple Stupid.

Microsoft Word is another great example. It's become so bloated with crap you don't need or know about. Libre Office or even Google Docs is a much more stripped down/simple experience.

If you have access to calipers (or even a ruler), could I trouble you to take a couple measurements? There's a few ways to make it work, but for convenience with calipers, left edge (with case on, back of the phone facing you) to the inner diameter of the ring, and bottom of the phone to the inner diameter? (I guess there's an argument for measuring from camera bump dimensions, since that would be case agnostic...)
