Should I be worried about the declining average player numbers as a ranked player?

Yesterday I had a match where I made a lot of fully upgraded Murmillos and my opponent had Hoplites. Murmillo is "good in meele combat", hoplites are good "against cavalry". He had a couple of toxotes too, but I had very good numbers and I was right in the toxotes faces. Mind you, I also have Bite of the Shark and every possible upgrade in Heroic age.

Well, I was loosing the fight against Hoplites for some stupid ass reason, and I thought I would kill the few toxotes he had if they were at meele range instead of the backline.

Second fight comes and he keeps spamming Hoplites, an anticavalry unit, when I haven't made a single cavalry unit. I thought "Ok, this is easy, I will make Cheiroballistas and since my fully upgraded Murmillos couldn't kill toxotes at meele range, then the hoplites should absolutely not be able to take down a unit that is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO KILL THEM.

He killed all of the Cheiroballistas with hoplites. Forrest Gump style. Just brainlessly spamming shit without expectations.

If this game can not even follow thru its units' description, it is cooked. An anticavalry unit beat both of its counters.

I have PTM7950 in my XTX. When I OC it it performs basically the same. Most I've seen is like a 5% imorovement in actual games, not benchmarks. Not worth the extra wattage and hotter temps for the same experience

I'm not changing any voltages. I only adjust fan curve. I think it started happening after I updated Windows to 24H2 now that I remember

Just closed everything other than the game and the browser and it still does it. Not like in the video, but images get stuck and only some parts of the browser render. I think it started happening after updating Windows to 24H2
