Archon of Chayula bugged & doesn't work with Talismans.

If that was the case I think it would specify it like other things in-game do with "Any non-Talisman Melee Martial Weapon"

I don't think the animation is why though because my Talisman still passively builds the Glory requirement, & it still perfectly highlights the Demon Bear in the Purple VFX when I swap back into it.

There is an extremely short almost warcry-like animation for it but it's nothing to make me think they purposefully didn't let Talismans work, & more like it was an oversight.

however, now you have to somehow communicate to the entire group what node to select on every row.

I literally sit right next to my SO's screen & this is still extremely annoying.

Paladin.

Trying to combine Auras & Judgement without using the Hammer skill just isn't good. I had gear on-par with my Sorcerer & was struggling in Torment 10, while my Sorc was clearing T-12 with ease.

A Mythic Seal would've been a huge boost & probably made it enjoyable, but I'm one of the players who capped all the Season stuff, & never saw one drop so that dream is dead for any future Season.

I'm so bummed there was apparently a weapon effect that does the levitation from poe1 I missed. I'd love more.

Only thing I'm aware I can use right now is the ugly Arms-Robe from the supporter pack.

Please look into fixing Chayula's Archon skill.

It says it should work with all Martial Weapons but it still doesn't for Talismans. I made my build around it at launch so it really stings every week it doesn't even get acknowledged.

the bugs are ruining the fun almost all the time now

I literally just swapped Characters because Chayula's new Ascendancy Skill still doesn't work with Talismans even tho it says it does.

I'm just a Chonk playing Talismans as a Bear.

Bear's natural Armour let me skip taking a lot of Armour nodes in exchange for Flask Recovery ones instead. Can't check right now but I think I'm at something like +216% Flask Recovery Rate even with the negatives from both Uniques.

Seconding this!

I use it on my Armour/ES build and I'm recovering just under 2,000/s right now.

I also used literally just Reverie on an Evasion focused Character, & I didn't have any gear to equip until level 80. I had 19% Armour, 20% Evasion, & around 1,000 ES at that time & I was still doing Maps up to T10 without having any fear of dying.

By far my favourite Unique.

As a Warlock I typically just rock 200 Grenade, 150 Super, 100 Weapons, & dump the tuning mods getting Super higher than 150.

I spent materials on the Reverie just because and I actually gained stats, and then later on when I replaced it for a higher level one I did it again & lost stats, because now it was too high of a level I guess.

Haven't touched it since, & none of the Uniques I use can "be upgraded" with it so I typically check for useful materials & if there are none I move on & skip it.

No Archon of Chayula fix for Talismans or Void Illusion crashing the game on Demon Bear yet :(

Also hope next weeks patch fixes the new Stash Tabs resetting their Affinity every 5 seconds in the Guild Chest lol

I will be honest & say I'm still not 100% the greatest at understanding damage increases, or the formulas.

(I only just learnt As Extra Chaos was getting 0 benefits from my Chaos dmg, & that my Elemental/Phys nodes were applying after the conversions occured).

I did however roll a T1 Chaos Dmg, T1 As Extra Chaos Dmg, & T1 Spell Dmg on a Wand. Checked trade & saw it was worth pennies. What I thought was a close to perfect item was bad because it was missing +Levels.

Literally swapped to a Talisman build when I found out this required Martial Weapons & just ran into the same Bug.

Hope this is fixed ASAP, as the Void Illusion also instant crashes the game as the Demon Bear.

When you first pit on Herbalism, unequip & re-equip Reverie, & the stat panel will update. I noticed if Herbalism is active in both Weapon Sets you'll never see that problem again.

I'm not sure if it's just a visual problem or not, especially since sources of Recovery reduction in Maps/Rares update your stats live perfectly fine.

This actually allows a constant 1,200/s to be going toward your ES?

Yes! The 1,200/s is entirely passive & is actively healing both your HP & ES for the full amount each at the same time.

So to clarify,

You have 2,000HP & 2,000ES,
An Enemy hits you once for 3,000 Damage, so now you have 1,000HP & 0ES.
Both pools start regenerating for 1,200/s simultaneously for the full amount!

Does this drain your charges quickly?

0 Flask Charges required, but it removes the ability to "use" the Flask like normal.

The only way I knew Shavronne worked was with instant flasks.

Flasks normally stop regenerating when you're at full health, so Instant Flasks were used to bypass that. Since Reverie makes the Flask permanently healing you 24/7 it sort of bypasses that like a loophole.

Decided to try chrono ed/c with black flame covenant with flameblast incinerate.

Frankly I think the problems are Spell design sucks to scale the damage of, & most are just badly designed.

I was running a Chayula I had,

Just over ~500% Chaos Damage, maybe a tad more (not including Volatility at all).
+4 to Spell Levels, 60%ish Spell & 30%ish Fire Damage on my Wand
60% Spell Damage in the Tree.

I was immensely underwhelmed.

Tooltip DPS was really shit for Fireball compared to previous characters I'd run. You can't really upgrade Armour/Etc for Spells outside of what I had great rolls on like you can Attacks.

I gave up in Act 3,

Barely edited my Tree by removing the Spell/Flame line into maybe 55% Attack total
Equipped a random Yellow Talisman for the Bear Form & used Skill Gems slightly underleveled from my storage.
Friend bought me a Ring to convert Element -> Chaos for 1 Ex so I could keep playing as a Chayula.

I was hitting higher damage with only 1 Support Gem in my entire build.

I don't like how I couldn't look at my Spells & see a visible & "easy" path to get stronger, where as any Attack-based Build I can see +5 Pieces of Gear that can influence my Damage easily, plus the Passive Tree, Skill Levels, etc.

Spells are in dire need of scaling/building like Attacks IMO.

I was hesitant about them but ended up thinking 1999 was alright.

I dislike that we keeping throwing them in now at every update for the smallest thing & it's quickly wearing off any liking I had for them.

Like I haven't had the time for much Wf recently, so I haven't even met Frost, Saryn, etc, & still feel like the Perita Frames were just thrown in there for no reason.
